Today is Day 01 for Toronto fashion staple – FAT – the Alternative Arts & Fashion Week.  Founded seven years ago by Serbian born Vanja Vasic, as a fashion student at Ryerson University, FAT (Fashion Art Toronto) is an essential week on our style and arts landscape.

“I felt like the experience of going to Fashion Week was really intimidating,” she said. “I wanted this to be a place where you could come in and not feel intimidated.”  This year’s 4 days of events features over 200 national and international designers as well as artists and performers in nearly every medium.
